"Distribute the Cards indiscriminately amongst the party, only observing that the White Cards are for ladies and the Pink for Gentleman.
Then let the character which has fallen to each be read aloud by some person who will give due effect to the gravity or the gaiety, to the wit or the wisdom of the quotation.
The enjoyment of the game consists in the harmony or the incongruity of the character thus accidentally shown, with the real qualities or obvious peculiarities of the individual."

This game ten sets each has one hand colored card - a character from the play and three plain cards each listing a characters from the play - The Game includes a title card which states "These games are approved of by the Bishop of London, and many of the most distinguished Instructors of Youth". ..

An unusual and interesting snap game.
The telescopic box expands to show the Mad Hatter's Top Hat, "This style 7/6d" - Alice in Wonderland is on the box.
The cards are very poor quaility card. The game consists of eight sets three cards - quite common about this period.

Alice in Wonderland - Complete - Condition / cards are good, some use no damage / Box missing top and bottom - outer section repaired with sellotape
