c1890 HARD A PORT Insert Cards - American Beuties.
A full set of 52 plus Joker Insert Playing Cards for "Hard a Port Cut Plug" Tobacco Company, with Blue backs.
The set has been playing with an exhibits wear in the usual places with nibbled corners, some non-serious bends and some non-distracting surface marks on the backs. All cards have been scanned to show the glamour and faults.
Some of the nibbled corners include: 9S, 9C, 8H, 6H, 10S, QC, 10C, 3C.
Corner bends / creases include: AS,AC, 8C, JD, 7H, 2H.
Joker has small crease and nibbled bottom left corner and 4H has paper surface over small area of bottom right corner.
Despite the above this is still a nice and attractive pack which includes the Black Beauty on the Ace of Spades.

MEDIAVAL PLAYING CARDS 1897.
This pack of 52 cards lacks the Joker., never-the-less this is still quite a rare pack as its non-standard court format was unpopular with buyers and consequently there was only a short print run.
The cards have been well played with and would rate them 4.5 out of 10.
There is no box.
There is very minor colour variation on the backs probably due to light exposure.
There are no bends and tears but the occasional non-distracting marks on the face of the face commensurate with the rating above.
