26th June 1902.

The cards are still in the Tax Wrapper but this has been opened along one side.
The Tax Wrapper shows that the cards were made by C. GOODALL & SON Ltd, Camden Town, London NW.
The cards are mint as issued 52 cards plus Joker - The Ace of Spades depicting the Master of the day.
The 15th Century style design on the backs of the cards is by Mr Seymour Lucas R.A.
It depicts three galleons which are symbolic of the Monarch's association with the Royal Navy and, at the top, there is a crown with the letters G and R on either side. Below there is a scroll with the word In Commemoration of the Coronation of His Majesty King George V.
