HERRING CHERRY BRANDY - This item is made of card with two
internal sliding cards - with this you could easily see the scores
for making or failing to make any contract vulnerable or
non-vulnerable - "Invented and issued by Peter F Herring
Copenhagen established 1818" - "By appointment purveyor
of Cherry Brandy to HM the King of Great Britain" The
condition is excellent no damage and no rust marks on the metal

1906 PRECEDENCE -AN INTERESTING CARD GAME - BASED
ON SOLO WHIST - This card game is complete 54/54 cards - the rules
are quite complex but there seems to be options in calling similar
to solo whist - a specific number of tricks or no tricks and
tricks winning game. The ranks are 9 levels of the nobility and
higher ranks can take lower ranks - Complete with rules and hints
to players, score sheets in original box. The cards, rules etc are
in v good condition - light use no damage - box is complete but a
bit scuffed and difficult to read as the dark type on red seems to
have fadeD |

party game that involves the participants wearing a tag with an
animals name around their neck and making the appropriate animal
sound when asked to - the animal tags are changed frequently -
Poems are read pauses filled by animal noises - for upto 12

GAME - Produced by Jaques from about 1860s this version of Happy
Families was produced in c1930 - The characters are unchanged from
the originals - 12 Families all drawn in Caricature style -

beautifully drawn - Cards have been used so there are odd scuff
marks t the edges - no creases or bends - original rules and box

of Wellington (it was updated and reissued covering Edward VII)

c1880S JAQUES ILLUSTRATED PROVERBS - FIRST SERIES
- This is a card game - There are 12 proverbs (64 cards) described
by picture and word - The aim is to complete proverbs from the
cards in your hand and by requesting them from other players -This
first series have blue type on the cards have plain pink backs -
One card of each proverb is beautifully colored by hand &
stencil (different versions have differences in depth of color and
areas of color) This version is much darker and more detailed in
color than series 2. The remained cards in that proverb are
uncoloured - Cards are nmint - square cornered - lightly used with
rules card and original box - which apart from a little fading is
also excellent |

FEATHERED DARTS - This item is a dart board measuring xby x - It
hangs on a wall and comes with three feathered darts n the
original box. It has been used - there are small holes in the
darts' board - but is not damaged in any way - Box is complete

c1900 THE LITTLE ANGLER - A popular Victorian
parlour game, this item consists of 20 "fishes"
(circular pieces of wood with numbers on the base and rings in the
top) and four rods all with hooks. The fish and put out on the
table and the idea is to catch the fish with the highest value.
The sort of game came in many forms from many different
manufactures - this was a cheaper model - in a card box - but now
rarer than those in more solid wooden boxes. All the pieces are
present and original - box is complete scuffed at the edges and
split on two sides - The title "The Little Angler" on
the box. |

c1905 JAQUES COUNTIES OF ENGLAND - 1901 censers
3RD SERIES - SOUTHERN ENGLAND. - This card game was first
manufactured using the censor results from 1861 - It was updated
every 10 years (and in between if something important happened
until the 1950s) This deck is from the 1901 censor - so was
probably produced about 3 /4 years later. Series 3 was equivalent
to Southern England at this time - this was reorganised and
England spilt into four later - The cards are square cornered with
plain backs - Pictures drawn in great detail - and beautifully
colored - It covers Lincoln to Cornwall - For each county a number
of towns are selected and their population and main points of
interest noted. ie Plymouth - "The Old Eddystone Lighthouse -
now moved to The Hoo" - Windsor Castle - "Residence of
His Majesty" (Edward VII) - Game is complete - Cards are
excellent - no damage - in original box (top flap of inner box
detached but present - Rules |
