GMV32 Picture 1899 Faulkner’s Bikee - a cycling game
This is a truly fun game manufactured by C W Faulkner & Co in 1899 and is a race game covering the, then, popular hobby of Cycling. Falulkner produced a series of games similar to Bikee called the ‘Upidee Series’ Cards are laid out to provide the course and the use of a teetotum provides the means of movement. Really great artwork as can be seen by the scans. This game consists of four (out of six) cyclists (stands missing), two dice, the rules and 20 illustrated course cards. The rules are photocopied. The course cards are in great shape as are the ‘cut out’ cyclists. The box has a split at one edge but otherwise is v good The bottom of the box is also fine - it’s very interesting as it lists other games by Faulkner.- Postage Category B
