A Complete Historical, Chronological, & Genealogical ATLAS of the Royal Family of England From William the Conqueror to his present Majesty George 3 - This set of cards consists of 11 card copper engraved and hand colored and an instruction card - The royal personage are color coded - grouped by house or families - Suggested method of using these cards is asking questions like "what I the relationship between x and Y" - Moving on to the next card when the questions are correctly answered.- The cards are in excellent condition - undamaged - clean - they fit into an original slip case - and there is a grubby mark on two cards (front of the rules and back of card 11) where they are exposed through the thumb hole - The slip case is v good - a little grubby but the label is in tact - Interesting teaching/play item.- Postage Category

GPO3215 Picture c1840s HAND COLORED CHILD'S METAPHORS MIS-MATCHES - Probably made in Germany, printed in three languages German/French and English - Complete and Boxed - This item is a 24 times 3 piece children's mismatch game - The completed picture measures approx 2.5 by 4 inches - The cards are steel engraved and hand colored - There is a phrase or question on the top cards - And a reply or answer on the bottom card - "What Virtue do you boast of?" - "Nonsense" - The picture are drawn with an incredible amount of detail - The game is v hard to match up - The cards are in excellent condition - no damage just v slightly dusty - The box is original with a sliding lid - Lined with pink paper - It is complete but the label is a little dirty .- Postage Category A ASK 0
GBE943 Picture c1868 FRENCH & ENGLISH HISTORICAL LOTO CARDS - CARTES DE LOTTO AVEC L'HISTORIE ANGLAIS EN FRANCAIS - - This item is 23 double sided lotto cards - One side has the normal numbers on it - The other side has nine columns number as centuries XI-XIX Siecle - All the narrative is in French - With pictures of English historical characters - Including King Arthur, Wellington, Elizabeth, Robert Peel - (Mort d'Arthur, Duc de Wellington, Elisabeth, et Sir Robert Peel) - We presume this was a method of teaching history and French at the same time - The latest event on any of the cards is - Lord Palmerston mort en 1865 - (Lord Palmerston died in 1865) - The cards are edged in different colors - Six of red, maroon, green and 5 blue. - The cards are in excellent condition - no damage - Odd scuffed corners but no bends or damage.- Postage Category B 100 50
OBK937 Picture c1880s THE SPEAKING TOYBOOK ABC ALPHABET ANIMAL BOOK - Animals Noises by puling string - - This item is a book that consists of preface and 7 double pages - The preface has a poem on the left and the following on the title page - "The Speaking Toybook reproducing - The Voices of the Cock, the Goat, the Cat, the Bird, the Lamb and the Cuckoo - Dedicated to the children by one who loves them" - Six of the pages have a picture on one page, text on the other - And an arrow pointing to a tab which when pulled makes the sound of the animal - The centre page has a alphabetic poem - The book measures 7.25 by 8.5 by 2 inches - The book is in very good condition - here are odd stains to the cover but no damage - The pages are all complete undamaged - a little duty with age but still v bright and colourful - Of the six string pulls that make the animal noise - two are missing - The rest make the appropriate noise when pulled - The string pulls have ivory tops to easy the pulling.- Postage Category 270 135

OTY1036 Picture c1880s IVORY SPELLICANS IN CARVED IVORY CASE - This item consists of 11 mixed spellicans - The case is carved with patterns of animals and reptiles - The spellicans are undamaged - The case unscrews at the top (1.75 inches) and the base (.75 inches) - The centre case is 3.5 inches - diameter .75 inches The base has a crack on one side - the top also has a crack at one side - The centre piece is undamaged - It screws together perfectly - the design on top and bottom matches- Postage Category 84 42

Made in England by Faulkner - Drawings by G Lambert - This game is missing one card (71/72 cards) - It is a misfits game where three pieces make up each animal - The art work is lovely - The drawing of the animal expressing their habitats and characteristics - Squirrels gathering nuts - the Lion being the King of the Jungle - Elephant travelling, Cat catching mice - The cards have been enjoyed and played with - Hence they have bent corners and odd creases - But are still pretty and enjoyable- Postage Category A

Probably English – Wooden Dominoes - This item is an early wooden set of children’s dominoes - This is a double nine set – ie 55 dominoes from 0-0 to 9-9 - Usually found made from ebony & bone - Not so common made in wood with paper covering - The dominoes are in v good condition - A little dirty but not torn or damaged - The box is also v good - The sliding top is missing the raise piece of wood at the pull end - It has a lovely picture of pixies or elves playing in a set of dominoes - The picture is a little dirty and a little rubbed but good - The base of the box is fine - It is made of white wood stained a dark re - Box measures approx 11 by 2.5 by .5 inches - Dominoes measure 1.9 by .9 inches- Postage Category C

OTY947 Picture c1900 CHILD'S PAPER PARACHUTES - BOLIDE - Made in France by Brevete SGDG - Label printed by Imp. Chambrelent & Croix - Paris - This item is called Bolide - Parachute - Made by Brevete SGDG - The same details appear on the inside of the box lid - Additionally the information on the lid states - "en France et a l'Etranger" - "in France and aboard" - This item consists of three paper parachutes - One is complete and appears not to have been used - Two are missing the small ring at the top - One has a tear - but is complete - The paper depth is 9 inches - the stick is 12 inches - The "parachute thrower" is v good - The original rubber band is in the original bag - But it has perished over time so would need replacing - There are also two rings which maybe used as part of the launching process - The idea is to launch the parachute using the Parachute Thrower - The item is boxed - rules in French, English and Spanish on the lid - Together with a lovely artist's impression of children playing with this - Probably meant to represent set in the Twilliere Gardens in Paris - The box is large approx 14 by 17 inches - Has a couple of small tears on the sides and one damaged corner - There is a little scuffing on the lid- Postage Category 170 85

This is similar to The Game of Boy Scout by The Parker Games Co Ltd - London - there is no manufacture on this box - - This deck consists of 50/50 cards measuring 4.5 by 7cms - There are five sets of 10 cards - Representing five patrols - Bull, Wolf, Owl, Lion and Curlew - The backs of the cards depict a scout with the flags - They are v good condition - lightly played with - A few cards have light crease - The cards are in a two part box which is complete - The game was made for the Netherlands. - Rules are in German as are the cards - But it is identical to the version by Parker Brother - The rules are interesting a one example shows "Wolf" as opposed to "Wolven" - Supporting the idea that this was a German version of an American game- Postage Category A

GBE950 Picture c1920 ARITHMETICAL LOTTO - CHILDREN & PETS - Made in Germany for English Market by Spear - This item is a arithmetical (multiplication) lotto - The pictures are 1920s style children - There are nine multiplication questions on each page - The 9 discs complete the pictures - When the child gets the answer right - Each answer also has a message with it - With moral overtones - The game is complete - which is rare as the discs often get lost - However someone has tried to make the game harder - By changing some of the questions and answers and messages in ink - Obviously not seen when the pictures are made up - Apart from this the cards are excellent - near mint when filled - The rules are also excellent - The box is complete v good - but split a little at the corners and edges- Postage Category 60 30
